POWERED PARACHUTE RALLY
The Memorial Day Powered Parachute Rally is an official event of the Northwest Powered Parachute Coalition. This fly in that is predominantly for pilots of powered parachutes and their families is celebrating the 20th Year for the event!

Twin Firs Field and Campground
This rally was started by Six Chuter Powered Parachutes Inc. located in Yakima, Washington and over the years has evolved to a premier club event in the Pacific Northwest. The rally usually draws fifty powered parachute pilots and their families. The club organizes open flying for their pilots and includes educational forums, a club barbecue and other fun activities.
A key goal of the club has always been to invite the public to the rally to watch the pilots fly and to provide “Discovery Flights”. Powered parachutes have a reputation of being the safest way to fly because of the inherent stability of the powered parachute. Powered Parachutes fly at a constant speed of only 28 mph and in the unlikely event of an engine failure are able to float to the ground safely under the canopy.
Check this site regularly for updates and information on this great event.
